For the past month of March 2023, on average, 733 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County Multiple List Service (MLS). In comparison, only 202 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County MLS for March 2022. The 2023 housing inventory increased +263%, meaning that March 2023 BUYERS had many more choices from which to choose. Despite the increase in housing inventory, March 2023 SELLERS experienced a +3% increase in “Average Sale Price”, compared to March 2022.
