April 2023 vs. April 2022 Housing Market Snapshot for Hernando County, FL

For the past month of April 2023, on average, 648 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County Multiple List Service (MLS). In comparison, only 359 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County MLS for April 2022. The 2023 housing inventory increased +81%, meaning that April 2023 BUYERS had many more choices from which to choose. The “Average Sale Price” for April 2023 indicated a 0% change compared to April 2022.
