For the month of November 2022, on average, 820 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County Multiple List Service (MLS). In comparison, for November 2021, only 285 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County MLS. The increase in housing inventory of 188% more homes on the market in 2022 means BUYERS have more choices from which to choose. For SELLERS, even though fewer homes sold in November this year compared to the same time last year, November 2022 SELLERS still experienced a 13% increase in “Average Sale Price”, year over year.
