June 2023 vs. June 2022 Housing Market Snapshot for Hernando County, FL

For the past month of June 2023, on average, 564 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County Multiple List Service (MLS). In comparison, only 345 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County MLS for June 2022. The 2023 housing inventory increased 64%, meaning that June 2023 BUYERS had many more choices from which to choose. The “Average Sale Price” for June 2023 indicated a 3% increase compared to June 2022.
